Zoe in Bright Gloves

October has been so much fun, and busy busy busy. My dad gave me a fixed 50mm lens and here are a few shots we got when playing around with the new lens with our oldest Zoe as the model in a cool hat and colorful gloves.
This last one is soooo cool to me, and her baby brother who is 3 took this one below!

Hobo Venicio on the tracks

While our 1998 VW Jetta was broken down I took the opportunity to take our three year old down to the local train tracks (which are not currently operating). Venice picked out his overalls and t-shirt and I suggested his skull huggalugs on the arms and fire flame leggings for his legs. We took an old yellow bandana, stuffed it with a winter beanie and tied it to a stick on the side off the side of the road. We had so much fun playing on the tracks, BUT I was so scared of letting him get too comfortable with playing on train tracks. We won't go to the tracks again anytime soon, but it was so worth it to get some shots that are now framed on our living room wall. :D

Sassy Suzanne

Suzanne and her parents were over for dinner, and I had the backdrop over in the corner of the living room. She took my son's puzzle peices with her to the backdrop and I snapped a few snaps. How could I not share this shot on here?!

Polkadot Piper

Piper! Isn't that such a fun name?!?!?! Piper is also going to be a tutu model in our upcoming tutu model project. She is such a dear girl and I'm so happy to have been able to capture some images of her at this phase in her life. Piper, you are a doll and I can't wait to get to get together and take pics of you the tutu outfit!

Corbin 3 mos

Meet our nephew Corbin. Corbin is so precious. We had the pleasure of taking his mom's maternity pics, as well as his newborn pics. We are looking forward to watching Corbin grow and documenting his milestones on film as we watch. Look at this lil model ;-)

We love you Corbin!!

Dougles Family Session

Some coworkers of mine saw self family portraits in my office and they told me that they've been looking for a photographer. They asked if I would be interested in taking their family photos. Of course I was interested! This couple has been so friendly and they bring a smile to my face everytime I see them. I am looking forward to taking their girls pictures for a tutu project that is in the works, at which time you will see more pics of the lil girls in this family :D
